Alesso “Alessandro Lindblad ” was born in Stockholm (Sweden) on July 7, 1991. Currently known as Alesso, he works as a Dj and producer. In 2017 he ranked number 37 of the “Top 100 Djs”, according to the prestigious magazine Dj magazine, lowering 17 places with respect to the last edition (2016).

Alesso, at age 18, began to appear in his native country as one of the young revelations of electronic dance music or electronic dance music (EDM), house style. As a curious fact, it was discovered by the Swedish musician, Dj and producer, Sebastian Ingrossa, who is part of the Swedish House Mafia group.

Ingrosso, he contacted Alesso immediately after listening to his demo in the year 2010. At the same time, he included it in Refune Records, where he participated in the production of the single “Calling”. From that moment, the artistic career of the young Dj gained more recognition. Also, because of the remixes of Avicii, Swedish House Mafia and Tiësto in which he had previously worked.

However, it was in 2011 when Alesso had his first important achievement. His mix of the song “Pressure” played by American singer Nadia Ali and co-produced by Alex Kenji and Starkillers, became one of the most successful EDM tracks of the year. Likewise, in 2012 he was named by MTV in the category “One To Watch”.

Artistic career

In November 2011, Alesso launched the single “Raise Your Head“, under the record label Refune Records. Simultaneously, he made a mixture of the success of the French Dj David Guetta with the Australian singer Sia, entitled “Titanium”. In March 2012 he made “calling Lose My Mind”, the single with which he won the Track of the Year Award of the BBC Radio 1.

That same year, Alesso worked in the record production of the seventh studio album of American composer, dancer and producer Usher, “Looking 4 Myself”. Likewise, he participated in the edition of “Nothing But the Beat Vol. 2” by David Guetta, in the single “Every Chance we Get we Run” and in the song “Queen of Your Dreams” for the album “The Evolution of Man” by Example.

In August 2012, Alesso in conjunction with Matthew Koma released “Years“. A piece that managed to consolidate his career as one of the best exponents of electronic music in Sweden. Later, in 2013 he made a new mix of “If, I Lose Myself”, a single from the album “Native” of the American pop rock band, OneRepublic.

You should note that, Alesso participated as a telonero on the musical tour of Madonna, “The MDNA Tour 2012”. Then, in 2013 the Swedish Dj planned his own musical tour titled “Uprising“, where he made a tour of the United States, ending in 2014. At that time, he dedicated himself to producing new musical pieces that he then premiered at the Ultra Music Festival held in Miami.

In May 2015 Alesso released “Forever“, a debut album produced by the label, Def Jam Recordings. The production includes the titled “Cool” singles, along with Brandon Wronski and “Heroes (We Could Be)”, a duo with Tov Lo. The record reached fourth place in Sweden and the public was quite responsive in several European countries, including Belgium, Italy, Norway, Australia and Switzerland.

In 2016 Alesso worked alongside Asian stars, including Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai, who is dedicated to the genre Mandopop in the single “I Wanna Know”, the piece was promoted in Ibiza, one of the Balearic Islands in Spanish territory. In the same way it makes a new mixture of “years”, including the genre K-Pop with the South Korean singer and actor, Chen of EXO.

Alesso’s success continued in 2017, when he made a collaboration in “Let Me Go” with American singer Hailee Steinfeld, the country music duo Florida Georgia Line and composer Andrew Watt. Later, the young DJ took out other remix, among these: “My People”, played by the Colombian J Balvin and the French DJ Willy William.

As for the Tour 2018-2019 of Alesso, so far there are two confirmed dates, you are: On Friday 23 and Sunday March 25, 2018 (Miami, Florida), at Ultra Music Festival.
