Deorro, also known as TON! C, is a young, but very talented Mexican producer and DJ, whose real name is Erick Orrosquieta. He was born in 1991 in Los Angeles, California, where he grew up and began his passion for electronic music.

Career and music

His career as a DJ began at the age of 14 when he gave birthday presentations to friends and family, but it was at the age of 17 when he encouraged himself to develop his own productions, mixing sounds and musical styles.

Deorro’s unique style has given him great popularity among his followers around the world. His music has even positioned him in SoundCloud’s daily graphics, his fans have downloaded more than 1 million of his music through the platform. In 2011 alone, it had 30,000 followers and 2.5 million reproductions.

Deorro’s productions that ideally combine electro house, dutch house, progressive house, melbourne bounce and trap have given it worldwide fame. But without a doubt it was Big Fat, one of his tracks released in 2011, that made him popular in the world.

The DJ adds his own style and rhythm to his productions with some bass sounds and the use of instruments such as keyboards, turntables and mixers.  This has made him appear, on several occasions, since 2014 in the magazine DJ Mag, in the top 100 of the best DJS.

During his career, he worked with many producers such as Sidney Samson, Alvin Risk, Bingo Players, Dillon Francis, Kaskade, among others. In 2012 this DJ was invited to tour around the United States and later the tour was extended to Australia, which was gaining more followers every day.

In Australia, in Melbourne, Deorro was given the opportunity to close the Good Life Festival 2012 on the main stage just after such famous producers as Skrillex and Steve Angello participated. This is a festival that counted during that year with more than 30,000 people.

On May 17, 2014 Deorro published in his Twitter account a message to his followers, expressing that he would retire from the stage for some time to devote himself completely to studio production.

He has been fervently dedicated to this since that date, which we can see in SoundCloud where there are several of his songs for downloads and reproductions, and in his YouTube channel, where he himself has uploaded some songs and tours in which he has participated.

He is currently working on a project called Panda Funk. Here he works with the collaboration of many other producers, more specifically Zoo Funktion, Will Spark and Steve Aoki.
