Sia is a 42-year-old Australian singer-songwriter born on 18 December 1975. Her first musical influences were her parents, who served as musicians and songwriters. Sia started working in the band Acid Jazz Crisp and even recorded two albums with them; however, after the separation she continued as a soloist. Her first record production was “Only See“, totaling 1200 copies sold.
Subsequently, Sia moved to London and teamed up with Sony Music to release her second album titled “Healing is Difficult“; however, due to little promotion, she resigned and signed with Go! Batir Records. At the end of this album he moved to the United States, where his song “Breathe Me” became the ending of the series Six Feet Under, achieving great popularity. Among her biggest hits is “Chandelier“, a single that incorporated her into Billboard Hot 100; additionally, she participated with The Weekend and Diplo in the production of “Elastic Heart“.
Sia has authored or co-written musical hits for artists such as Rihanna with “Diamonds“, Britney Spears in “Perfume” and Beyoncé’s “Pretty Hurts“. Also among her best collaborations is “Titanium” with David Guetta, a single that reached number one in UK Singles Chart. He is currently a member of the band LSD along with Diplo and Labrinth.
